I would like to share my HCL Comnet interview experience with you.

Company Name: HCL Comnet
Exam/Interview Date: 16th March 2011

Selection Procedure:

There were 4 rounds

• Written
• JAM
• Technical
• HR rounds

This drive went on for 5 days.

Written test:

There was an Aspiring minds test and it was quite easy to get through this., It includes Aptitude, reasoning, Verbal.
RS Agarwal is enough to crack this test.

JAM:

We were asked to speak about a topic for 2 min and they gave a list of topics like favorite Holiday spot, role model, Social networking boon or bane. They just check for proper communication skills, prepare on the topics mentioned and deliver it well.

Technical:

Then there was a technical round the questions were asked on networks and they were basic need not worry.

Interviewer: tell me about your self
Me: told

Interviewer: Asked me basic questions regarding networking like layers in OSI model.
Me: told

Interviewer: Asked me about functionality of layers
Me: told

This went on for 15 min with basic questions, HR were supportive, there is no need to panic and they were confident that we would do well after training.

Interviewer: wished me all d best and asked to have my HR round.

HR round:

HR was very cool lady.

Interviewer: Tell me about yourself
Me: told

Interviewer: She asked me about my family.
Me: told

Interviewer: hobbies
Me: told

Interviewer: 3 things that I want to change in this society.
Me: told

Interviewer: mentioned that we may have to work in night shifts and may have to relocate any place like Noida.
Interviewer: asked me to leave

Thus my interview was over successfully, and I was not tensed about the result. Results were mailed to selected candidates through mail.

Mahindra Satyam Personal Interview Experience 2011

Hi, I’m Spandana and I would like my Interview Experience I had with Mahindra Satyam as it would be helpful for Mahindra Satyam Referral drive.

I Attended An Off Campus Drive Conducted By Mahindra Satyam through JKC on July 30th and 31st, 2011 in Rajampet, Kadapa. A.P. Written test was on 30th July at 11:00 AM

Selection Procedure:

There Were 3 Rounds.

• Online Written Test.
• Technical Round
• Hr Round.

Round 1: Written Test.

The Written test consists of 100 questions and the duration is 60 minutes.

There are 2 sections:

Section 1: Verbal 100 Questions In 40 Minutes
Section 2: Aptitude 70 Questions In 40 Minutes

You Have To Start With Verbal Which Has 8 Sections In It. You Can Solve The Sub Sections In Any Order

They sub sections are as follows:

1. Tenses(10 questions)
2. Articles(10 questions)
3. Verbiage (synonyms 10 questions)
4. Confusing words (same pronunciation, different meaning)
5. Reading comprehension(10 questions)
6. Subject verb agreement(20 questions do this from cat material or similar)
7. Prepositions(20 questions)

I Can Just Say One Thing No Need To Prepare For This Section. All Are Simple And General Questions And You Can Solve In 20-30 Minutes, Given Time Is 40 Minutes. but be slow, even though u save time u cant use for other section

After Completing This Section, You Can Relax For 5 Minutes And Start Next Section.

In Aptitude:

This Section Is Very Crucial For Your Exam.

There Are 3 Sections In This

1. Non verbal reasoning(35 questions)
2. Verbal reasoning(20 questions)
3.Quantitative (15 questions)

Aptitude – Includes Question From Clocks, Time And Work, Partnership Problems, SI, mixtures and allegations. All Are Simple. In The Other 2 Sections There Are Questions From Puzzle Test, Figure Series, Number Series, Direction Sense, Blood Relations.

All I Can Say For Preparation Of Written Is, Go With A Cool Mind And Before That Just Go Through R.S. Agarwal Books.  Aptitude, Reasoning.

For shortlisted candidates in written test interviews were conducted next day, 31st July.

Round 2: Next Round Is Technical: 31st July, 2011

Mine was in the afternoon at about 12. Here I Faced Few General Questions And Puzzles.

hr: tell me about Ur self
me: told
hr: Asked To Explain My Project.
me: told
hr: asked a number series problem simple one 1, 4, 9, 16,_
me: told
hr: asked a puzzle like a person climbs wall with 3 steps ahead and 1 back after how many steps will he reach the top.
me: told
hr: another Shakuntala Devi puzzle like water replicates for each day in a bowl, on 20th day it was full, wen was it half?
me told
hr: asked me to leave

Next HR round

This was around 2:00 PM

This Was Very General..
hr: tell me about Ur self
me : told
hr: asked about hobbies
me told
and discussed reg the books i read.
hr: asked few general ques nothing technical was general to know to know the attitude of the candidate.

Finally my name was announced as selected at about 8:00 PM after every one was done with the interview.

Hello i am Peeyush, Here i am sharing my TCS interview experience.

Interview Details:

Date: 26-Dec-2010
Position: Fresher(Assistant System Engineer)

Total Rounds: 3

Round 1: Online aptitude test
Round 2: Technical interview
Round 3: HR interview

Round 1:

First of all their was an Online aptitude test which contains 60 question with 1/3 negative marking.It contains general aptitude questions, similar to these question you can be found on relevant sites.

Round 2:

After this in technical interview first they read my resume carefully the start asking question about the projects mentioned in my resume and after that they come to technologies/languages written in my resume like c,c++,sql,java etc.

Question were as written below:

• Explain about Inheritance concept in c++.
• Run time polymorphism in c++.
• Post & get in java.
• How to find second max salary in employee salary table in sql.
• Name of sorting algorithms & explain one algorithm by writing code on a piece of paper.
• Explain about AVL tree in DSA.
• What you know about cloud computing?
• Abstract class in c++/java.
• Why java is platform independent?
• Static modifier in java?

Round 3:

After this they sent me to for HR interview and question asked in this round were as written below:

• why you want to join TCS?
• why we hire you?
• what is your expectations from TCS?
• Then told me about the 2 years service agreement & asked me that you agree or not?
• Do you have any location problem?

That’s all for the whole interview process then i got selected and now my working in this organization.

HCL Technologies Interview Questions and Interview Experience 2011

Hi friends, I am Prachujya Saikia and I’m sharing my Interview Experience in HCL. “HCL TECHNOLOGIES” came for campus selection in our college(SCE) on 3rd September and I was unlucky that i couldn’t got placed. At 9.30 am they gave PPT(Pre Placement Talk) and They told some good points related to the growth and about company which drag my attention towards HCL.

HCL Interview Pattern 2011

The whole process was of two rounds.
1) Written Test – 75 marks
2) Interview (Technical/HR)

Round 1: Written Test

First one is the written test which contains

1. Quantitative.
2. Logical&Analytical Reasoning.
3. Verbal.
4. C Questions.

Duration for the test period was 75 minutes and no.of questions was 75. The paper was not that much easy . Time seemed to be not sufficient. Regular practice can make u to finish it with the given time. So work out as many problems and you will feel it very easy.

Written started for us at 9.30 am and finished at 10.45 am results announced after PPT(Pre Placement Talk) which was gone for 45 mins) and they told some good points related to the growth and about company which drag my attention towards HCL.

Those are
1. The ‘Employees First,Customers Second’ philosophy.
2. 18 months bonds
3. 90 days training , We will sit on a project on 90 th day.
4. Compensation is also very good(3.25 per annum).

At around 12.00 pm results were announced .Thank GOD my name was in that list (101out of 311)

1. Reasoning Book by R.S.Agarwal,Barron’s GRE for verbal
2. Quantative Book by R.S.Agarwal.
3. LET US C by Yashwant Kanitkar.
4. TEST UR C SKILLS by Yashwant Kanitkar.

Round 2: Technical/HR Interview

Next round is INTERVIEW(Technical/HR) . More no of students including me could not success in this round.

Only thing you have to do is be cool and confident. My name was allotted at the last according to alphabetical order.There were four panels.The interview started at 12.30 pm .I had waited for long time till 7.30 pm and I was completely tired with full day tension.I went at 7.30 pm.One thing I realized that we should at least have some water if u have not taken food.

The main things to be followed in Interview.

1.BE COOL & CONFIDENT.
2.MAKE SURE WITH THE VOICE MODULATION.
3.KEEP EYE CONTACT WITH INTERVIEWER.

If u follow all these then u can feel success. In this round u have to be confident in ur area of interest and if u r a electronics student be confident with ur electronics basics.

HCL Personal Interview Experience 2011

My interview went like this.

ME : May I come in sir ?
HR : Yes come in,good morning,good afternoon,good evening!!!!
ME : Good evening Sir (it was 7.30 pm )
HR : Good evening.
HR : You are from?
ME : I told.
HR : He asked do you have your CV(Resume) with u ?
ME : Yes sir, ( I had given my Cv ).
HR : He asked what my mother tongue was?
ME : I told.
HR : He asked my family background.
ME : I explained very clearly.
HR : Do you know Java?
ME : Yes sir.
HR : Will you write a program in java?
Me : Yes sir.
HR : He supposed to give me a piece of paper but he didn’t and took it back and said ok.
HR : Do you well in DBMS?
ME : I told yes sir.
HR : But you have to be very proficient in RDBMS concept.
ME : I told related to RDMS clearly.
HR : He gave me form of agreement of three statements.
ME : I read out all those and put my acceptance signature.
HR : K,Thank you dear. All the best.
Me : Thank you sir for interviewing me(Left the room).

Don’t get tensed, be confident with ur answers and be honest. If u don’t know any answer just tell him that u don’t know.

Regarding C programming just go through some simple programs like
FIBANOCCI SERIES
FACTORIAL
REVERSE THE DIGITS or STRING
GENERATION OF PRIME NO
MATRIX MULTIPLICATION,……etc

Then we were asked to sit outside and we waited for the results. After an hour , two HR came and started telling that results will be announced after one day.With full of tension I came back and waited for the result but bad luck for me I was not amongst those in the list.

Totally 34 students got selected from our college.So friends have faith in GOD , work hard and success will be yours.

Stay as cool as you could and that will fetch you the job… Don’t lose your hopes and confidence at any time

Hello Friends, I am Neha and I am sharing my Interview Experience of the Interview which i attended in Tata Technologies Ltd in Jaipur. Here I’m sharing some of the Tata Technologies Interview Questions, I hope it will be helpful for all of you.

This was a campus recruitment and this was the first company visiting our college in July. The Recruitment process had 4 Rounds.

1. Aptitude and technical test
2. Group discussion
3. Technical interview
4. HR Interview

Round 1:
Aptitude test included questions of simply aptitude and C++ related question. All questions were pointer based.

Round 3:
In Technical interview,interviewers main focus was on projects which i developed during 3rd and 4th year. As my projects were C++ based they asked me to explain briefly that how the project works,what was your role in project and what were the problems you faced during development and other thing that they asked about the languages I know. My answer was C,C++ and Java.

Tata Technologies Interview Questions

They asked me many basic C++ questions.They are as follows:

1.How inheritance works,its types and about public,private,protected keywords?
2.Virtual functions?
3. Friend functions?

A simple puzzle was also asked.that was on recursion function. All my technical interview was based on my projects mainly. So if one works on some good projects during 3rd year and final year,It will be always a plus for him/her. You need to have good knowledge of a particular language.

Round 4:
In HR round It was based on my interest in organizations. Questions were:
1.Where I see Myself after 5 Years?
2.What you think about Tata Group?
3.Why do you want to join this company?

Thankfully, I was selected in the Interview and I am currently working with this organization. I really hope some of the Tata Technologies Interview Questions will be useful to some of you.
