Amazon Freshers Recruitment 2012 – Customer Support

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Any Graduate, Post Graduate, Diploma Students can attend this Walkin.
  • Should be very good in English.
  • Should have very good Typing Skills.
  • Both Freshers and Experienced Candidates are eligible to attend this Walkin.
  • Candidate can attend regardless of his passed out year.
  • Candidates with more than 60% in Engineering Courses is not eligible.

Facilities Provided:

Amazon is really very good in taking care of their employees. You can find the list facilities provided below.

  1. Basic Salary.
  2. Food Coupons.(for Rs. 1100/-)
  3. Cab Facility.(Both Pickup and Drop – Door to Door)
  4. Night Shift Allowances.(50% Extra on Basic Salary)
  5. Over Shift Allowances.(50% Extra on Basic Salary, 100% Extra on Holidays).
  6. Over Time Allowances.(50% Extra on Basic Salary, 100% Extra on Holidays).
  7. Medical Allowances.

Job Roles:

Role 1: Email Support.
Role 2: Chat Support.
Role 3: TRMS – Seller Support.

Email Support:

Candidates who got selected for this role should reply to the emails of the Customers. You need to reply for 48 Emails Everyday. That’s it.

Chat Support:

Candidates who have got selected for this role should solve customer queries through chat. You can manage 2 Parallel chats at the same time.

TRMS – Seller Support:

Candidates who got selected for this role should answer the sellers queries. As you know Amazon has a Market Place where sellers can sell their goods, so you need to solve their queries.

Salary Offered:

Email Support: 1.34 Lakhs for Seasonal, 1.54 for Permanent. (I don’t have updated details).
Chat Support: 1.54 Lakhs (I don’t have updated details).
TRMS – Seller Support: Above 2 Lakhs (I don’t have updated details).

Selection Process:

There will be totally 3 Rounds according to the New Procedure.

Round 1: JAM or GD or Short Online Test.
Round 2: Versant Test.
Round 3: HR Interview.

Complete Details on Versant Round:

Versant Test Consists of 5 Sections, You need to Qualify as a whole, No Sectional Cut-off.

Section 1: Typing Test.
Section 2: Fill in the Blanks.(Should be good in Vocabulary)
Section 3: Framing Own Sentences.
Section 4: Listening Test.
Section 5: Email Writing.

There will be time for each and every section. You need to complete the section within the time frame. No Extra time is allotted. It’s a Online Test.

Job Types:

Based On your Versant Score, You’ll be taken as either Seasonal or Permanent Employee. There will be difference in salary of Rs. 20,000/- in between them. That’s it expect it both of them will get equal benefits.

Role 1: Seasonal.
Role 2: Permanent.

Also, Based on Versant Score they’ll decide whether you’re eligible for Chat Support or Email Support. So Versant Score is Very Important.

Walkin Dates: Monday-Friday Every Week until Vacancies get filled up.
Timings: 10.00 Am

Hello Harini, TRMS walkins are not yet started. I’ve mentioned the same in the article in the last line. They’re expected to start soon. Once started you can attend the interview.

Hello Sameer, Amazon will easily catch your fake experience, They’ve a thorough background check. You can say them you’ve been working as a Assisant Professor till Now. Mostly they’ll accept. And one more thing is, If you’re attending a company in Hyderabad with a fake experience certificate, get that experience certificate from Bangalore or Chennai. Don’t get it from Hyderabad, since you’ll be caught easily, I mean chances are more. Regarding which consultancy, I have no idea.

Hello Vijay, Seems that you didn’t did enough research so you choose BPO Field. You’re eligible for Wipro. Have you ever tried for Wipro? There still jobs for 2010 Passed Outs in Development Field. Regarding Amazon, You can attend. I’m not aware of any drive in Bangalore. The Walkins are in Hyderabad. Also, Attend IBM Interview for IT Help Desk which is beside Amazon office, they’ll pay almost 2.5 Lakhs for Freshers and It has a good career growth.

Hello Ayub, Voice Process? Amazon don’t have Voice Support in India. All the Voice Support is completely based in US for Amazon. SO I’m sure that you’ve attended for the email support itself. Anyway, If they collected your Details and stored them in the database then you’re not eligible. I don’t think they’ve feeded them in the database because such a large group of people attends the jobfair. So I suggest you to give another try in Amazon Office. If they accept you then it’s your luck, other wise It’s Bad Luck. Prepare well now and attend the walkin.

Hello Bindu, You’re not eligible with a Backlog. If you can clear your backlog before joining date then go and attend the Interview. You’re eligible without backlog and without 60% in B.Tech.

Hello Satish, You’ll get just 1.64L Per Anum unless you’re selected as a manager. If you’re selected as a Manager then you’ll get more than 4 Lakhs. I Personally don’t recommend you this job.

hi bharath….. i got selected in the interview…..after that i gave my certificates for the varification…. later they gave me a “letter of intent” (valid for 120 days)….in the letter of intent it was written that my base pay is 1.54 lakh per annum…. so my question here is…. when i get the offer letter … is there any chance that they reduce my package below 1.54… because i heard from my friends that the package mentioned in the “offer letter” is permanent …… please give reply

Hello Vinod, If you’re selected as a Permanent Employee then your Pay is 1.54L and as a Seasonal Employee your pay is 1.34L. It will not change, It’s fixed.

Hello Arya, Yes you can attend the TRMS Walkin. No Need to take any one’s Permission. I’m not really sure whether the walkins are still going on, Max they will be going on. So check once before you attend the walkin.

Hello Rohith, Many people here said that the walkins are going on for TRMS. How ever i don’t have any official information from my side. Just go to the office and check whether the walkins are going on. 99% the walkins are going on for TRMS. If by chance they’re stopped then it’s your badluck.

Hello Pritam, NO Need to tell them you’ve a backlog. Your Joining date will depends. Most of them get the joining in August and September. You’ll also have facility to postpone your joining date for a month. So You’ll have sufficient time to hide the backlog from them till your results are announced.

Hello Sujji, I think you’re eligible for TRMS.(Get this Confirmed from your friend). There will not be a separate typing test. Typing test will be in the Versant Round itself.

Hello Prashanthi, B.E candidates with more than 60% are not eligible for Amazon. But I recommend you to try for TRMS. You should be able to convince them that you’ll not leave Amazon in a year or two after getting selected. Only then you’ll be allowed for the interview.

Hello Prashanthi, For TRMS I’m not sure whether the Walkins are going on. I’m 100% sure that Walkins for Email and Chat Support are going on. I recommend you to go to Amazon Office and Try. You can attend the Interview on Any Weekday. I mean from Monday – Friday. Reach Amazon by 11.00 AM. If you can convince HR Team, You can also attend Email or Chat Support. But with 67% You’re Over Qualified for Email and Chat Support and Under Qualified for TRMS. Anyway, GO Ahead give a Try.

Hello Satya, It’s not a BPO Job. This is a Good and Professional Job with Excellent Growth in it. You can be a Manager within 2 Years in this Job. With 80% you’re not eligible for Email/Chat Support. I think they’ll even consider you for TRMS. All i can suggest you is Go to office and try to convince them.

Hello Saibalaji, JAM Topic will be given by them. Online Test will be in English Grammar. If you’re good in Grammar you can clear the test very easily. It’s Just 10 Minutes test with 10 Questions and 9 being the cut-off in most cases if there is good competition. So Prepare well.

Hello Saibalaji, I recommend you to try for Email and Chat Support, Because for TRMS they will see a lot’s of stuff. So first go for Email Support. After 6 Months through IJP’s you can move to TRMS.

Hello Arya, IJP means “Internal Job Posting”. If there are Vacancies in TRMS after 6 months then you’ll need to take Versant Test once again. If you secure the Cut-off marks for TRMS then you’re eligible for the Interview in TRMS. You’ll be Interviewed by TRMS HR. Once you clear the interview you can move to TRMS. Everything depends on the marks in Versant Test. So Prepare well for Versant.

Anyway go to Amazon Office and Try to convince them. Say like, You really love working for Amazon etc. Convince them.

Hello Sandeep, I’ve already replied. You’ll need 25-35 WPM and there is no need to be scared because Typing test is one of the section in Versant. So If You’re bad in Typing You can get this covered by scoring more marks in Other Sections in Versant test. There will be no separate typing test for you it’s included in versant.

Hello Pritam, Risk Investigator and TRMS are mostly different. Even though I’m not sure. Go ahead and attend the Interview for Listing Process. Once you work for few months in it, You can later get transferred into TRMS based on your Performance.

I’ve was informed that since the Retention rate of Engineering students who have more than 60% is very high, they’re not allowing students with more than 60% for Support roles. Since You said that you’re working for Amazon, Can you send me an Official Email(From Your Amazon email) informing that candidates with more than 60% are eligible.

If So, That would be Great, So That i can believe you and update the Criteria here. I’m not guiding any person in the wrong way. I’ve seen many students who came back because of this issue. I’m tracking this recruitment since last 2 Years. Anyway, I’ll get in touch with my friends in Amazon to confirm this issue.

I really disappointed because i knew i presented very well, but still i don’t know they rejected me!! He asked me to tell about myself and previous work details. i explained him very well. ” i was worked in Malaysia as a Customer support executive, chat,email support. i got 2years experience in this relevant field. i have good communication skills,written,oral and typing skills, i explained him how i solved one critical issue with customer. etc…” After all my said finished. he simply rejected me, i was shocked and asked him, Sir why did you reject me. he told me that i spelled two grammar mistakes.
Is that 2 grammar mistakes are very important than my skills and experience!!???

Hello Rajesh, No Company will ask you to submit all your Original Certificates and If any company asks it then don’t join those companies. They’ll make you suffer. Some companies will also allow Diploma and +2 Candidates with atleast 6 months of experience for Voice Process. You can apply for IBM and Wipro Voice Processes if you’re not a graduate.

Hello Sunny, With your Experience You’ll be Welcomed to Amazon. I think you need to complete atleast +2 to be eligible for Amazon. Since You’re Experienced you may get the exception. Try your luck. Try in Amazon for the Position of Manager or Ops Manager Don’t for associate position like TRMS. It’s not worth your time.

I have worked at HSBC as customer service executive for 2 years 9 months from sep 2008 to june 2011, i have a gap of one and a half year, i wanted to apply for TRMS process, my previous pay package was 2.5, wanted to know whether i am eligible for TRMS process at AMAZON, if yes how much pay package i can expect.
Though i have gap of one and a half year, but still i have returns scheme and i can join back if i have not joined any other company.
But i am always interested to join in TRMS process at AMAZON.

Yes, They’ll when they perform background check. But I don’t think it’s a Problem. Don’t worry, You can cover that up with some beautiful reasons.

You can attend this interview and you can choose the job depending upon your skills. If you get chat then go for it.

Hi Sir,I really appreciate you for giving us such a useful information that anyone dont give evenif we ask them.Sir,actually I have a teaching backgound for almost 7 yrs.so,is this a factor to reject me in bpo?bcoz tomorrow I have to attend an interview for amazon.I have already gave 2 interviews in someother companies.they r asking me why r u switching into bpo.the otherone simply rejected me.dont know the exact reason for rejection.pls help me in this how to give an answer if iam asked again tomorrow.I wish this site has a good future ahead.Thanq for ur suggestion in advance .

Amazon will surely welcome if you have Good Communication Skills. I don’t think they’ll consider your Background. If you give the interview confidently, You’ll get the job in Amazon.

hai bharat iam attending for amazon for TRMS but the problem is i don’t have aggregate of 60 so, but in my resume i show the as i have above 60 will i attend for interview are drop this interview. i am waiting for ur answer

Malli, Don’t show Incorrect Percentages in your resume. Mention your Original Percentage and attend the Interview.

hi bharath. i have completed my bsc computers dis year. but i have two blacklogs,
i came too know in amazon they will hire UG candidates ,
so shall go directly through with my degree resume ,will they reject me due to my backlogs?
