2) Why IT Finishing Schools are Needed?
Thousands of students are completing their graduations every year and coming to the Industry to search their dream Job. Out of these students only few students are “Job Ready”. All the remaining students are not getting hired only because they are not “Job Ready”. 1) Number of Companies/Corporates Associated with it?
2) Job Profiles to which the Companies/Corporates Recruit?
4) Till how many Interviews they Provide Assistance?
5) How many Rounds in the Interviews?
6) Will they Teach Communication and Interview Skills?
7) Will they provide training on Aptitude to clear the Written Test?
*) The Qualification of the faculty from whom you are getting trained?
9) Number of Students in the Class Room?
10) Project with Hands-on Industry Experience.
11) Placement Record.

Some Good IT Finishing Schools:
According to our enquiry, we have found that these 3 IT Finishing Schools helped students a lot.
1) 3Edge Solutions.
2) CMC.
3) Radix Learning.

Training Period: Minimum 3 Days to Max 7 Months based on the school.(Most institutes offer 3 Month Programs)
Fee Structure: Rs.1500 to Rs.70,000.
Placement Assistance:
After the training in the respective IT Finishing School is completed, Students will be allowed to attend the interviews.

4) How to join a IT Finishing School?

Students who are interested in joining a good IT Finishing School are required to clear the three rounds mentioned below.
1) Written Test.
2) Technical HR.
3) General HR.
These Preliminary rounds will access the candidates ability and based on the result the training program will be selected for the student.

For Students in Final B.Tech:
If you are a Student in Final Year B.Tech and reading this article, and if you are interested in joining any IT Finishing School, then please note that some IT Finishing Schools have Tie-ups with Top Institutes(IITs, BITS) which will offer a “1 Year Degree Program” with certification. 3. hello sir. i am a student of MCA (5th sem) from NERIM under Dibrugarh University. I have secured 70.19%(til 3rd sem) awaiting for results of 4th sem.
Presently doing my minor project in ASP.NET..
    I secured 44.44% in 10th, 46% in 12th and 64.08% in BCA.
I also had a gap of three years after my 12th..
Right now i am looking for organisations providing 6th sem major project training to us and also for leading companies like Infosys recruiting IT people in India..
Sir would like to know what are my prospects in the relevant field considering my educational background & qualification in IT sector including in Infosys and also the language(s) preferred now a days by IT companies..

    1. Hello Sudhir, .NET is a Good Language. Since you are comfortable with it, you can go for it. Coming to eligibility, You are not eligible for TOP MNC’s since your percentages are less than 60% in 10th and 12th.

  4. hello sir. its great to see u answer all the queries patiently.. Well Infosys is going to come to our college on september 14th for recruitment and i shall be a 2012 current aggregate is 70.1%.
primarily i would like to know why all companies like Infosys,TCS etc are are visiting colleges so early..
secondly i request you to give some tips to clear the written test.. Especially english section.. also let me know about the sectional cutoffs of infosys written test..
    Thanks in advance..

    1. Hi Prasanna, There is much recruitment in the 2012 Quarter, so they are visiting campuses early. Coming to written exam, Please search for the previous papers online. English Section will not be that tough as you assume, if your see few previous written test papers you will get a Idea. Sectional Cut-off’s will be decided based on the performance of the students, so it will be decided at the spot itself.

If you have any more Queries, Please feel free to ask.

  5. Sir, I have completed MCA with 80.5% , BCA with 73.03% , 12 th with 59% , 10 th with 66.3% . I need a favor can you tell me a good IT company for me . Location Preference: Delhi/NCR

    1. Hi Shiksha Gupta, Since you don’t have 60% through out your academic career, you are not eligible for TOP IT Companies, so i cannot say you the names of them, I really don’t have proper knowledge on the small IT Sector companies in Delhi, So it’s better i don’t suggest you.

  6. Hello Sir!
    81% in 10th
    66% in 12th, and
    70% in (CSE) 2011 pass-out .

what are my chances of being short listed in TOP IT company?????
will elitmus test help me to find a good job?

    1. Hi Deepak, You really have good percentages, so you can get shortlisted for TOP IT Companies. Elitmus will definitely help you in getting a job. My best suggestion is to take “elitmus” exam.

    1. Giving “elitmus” exam is much better than joining in IT Finishing School. So Prepare for “elitmus”. If you get 90Percentile in it, you will get a job with a salary of Upto 6 Lakhs Per Anum in Small Companies.

    1. Hi Siddarth, Even IT Finishing Schools can’t help you because, IT Finishing Schools should respect the Percentage Cut-Off’s for TOP MNC’s. So even if you are a IT Finishing School Student your should have above 60% through out your academic career to get placed in TOP MNC’s. IT Finishing Schools can show you job opportunities in small IT Companies.

You’re eligible for Infoys and In Infosys if your clear the written test then 90% you’ll get selected, so I suggest you to concentrate on clearing the written test first. Prepare well for it thorough RS Agarwal. You can master the books with 2-3 months, once you do it, come back here, I’ll update you how to prepare for Technical rounds and HR rounds.
