Hello Ritvitha, Infosys Cut-off is only 68%. So You have crossed the cut-off comfortably. When the recruitment starts for 2012 Passed outs, you can apply, so please wait till then.

hello sir. i am a student of MCA (5th sem) from NERIM under Dibrugarh University. I have secured 70.19%(til 3rd sem) awaiting for results of 4th sem.
Presently doing my minor project in ASP.NET..
I secured 44.44% in 10th, 46% in 12th and 64.08% in BCA.
I also had a gap of three years after my 12th..
Right now i am looking for organisations providing 6th sem major project training to us and also for leading companies like Infosys recruiting IT people in India..
Sir would like to know what are my prospects in the relevant field considering my educational background & qualification in IT sector including in Infosys and also the language(s) preferred now a days by IT companies..

regards..

Hello Sudhir, .NET is a Good Language. Since you are comfortable with it, you can go for it. Coming to eligibility, You are not eligible for TOP MNC’s since your percentages are less than 60% in 10th and 12th.

hello sir. its great to see u answer all the queries patiently.. Well Infosys is going to come to our college on september 14th for recruitment and i shall be a 2012 passout.my current aggregate is 70.1%.
primarily i would like to know why all companies like Infosys,TCS etc are are visiting colleges so early..
secondly i request you to give some tips to clear the written test.. Especially english section.. also let me know about the sectional cutoffs of infosys written test..
Thanks in advance..

Hi Prasanna, There is much recruitment in the 2012 Quarter, so they are visiting campuses early. Coming to written exam, Please search for the previous papers online. English Section will not be that tough as you assume, if your see few previous written test papers you will get a Idea. Sectional Cut-off’s will be decided based on the performance of the students, so it will be decided at the spot itself.

If you have any more Queries, Please feel free to ask.

Sir, I have completed MCA with 80.5% , BCA with 73.03% , 12 th with 59% , 10 th with 66.3% . I need a favor can you tell me a good IT company for me . Location Preference: Delhi/NCR

Hi Shiksha Gupta, Since you don’t have 60% through out your academic career, you are not eligible for TOP IT Companies, so i cannot say you the names of them, I really don’t have proper knowledge on the small IT Sector companies in Delhi, So it’s better i don’t suggest you.

Hello Sir!
I’ve
81% in 10th
66% in 12th, and
70% in b.tech (CSE) 2011 pass-out .

what are my chances of being short listed in TOP IT company?????
will elitmus test help me to find a good job?

Hi Deepak, You really have good percentages, so you can get shortlisted for TOP IT Companies. Elitmus will definitely help you in getting a job. My best suggestion is to take “elitmus” exam.

Giving “elitmus” exam is much better than joining in IT Finishing School. So Prepare for “elitmus”. If you get 90Percentile in it, you will get a job with a salary of Upto 6 Lakhs Per Anum in Small Companies.

sir i have 55% till date now i am in 4th year btech.. by January i may have 60%, and i have no problem with my 10th and 12th.. my quiry is, that openings in MNCs will be there by that time (January) and can i find a job in top it companies. please reply me sir

thank you for your concern sir.. i am planning to take finishing or edge training…as many of my friends suggested that off campus placements are are not that easy and some MNCs like infosys preferably are not taking any offcampus..so up to what part of these finishing courses may help

They will help you in becoming Industry ready and these IT Finishing Schools will show you job opportunities, so don’t worry you have made a good choice.

Hello Sir,

I registered in CTS got the Id, but still i have doubt, when ever i check my status it shows ” your resume is under process will inform if shortlisted” . will they select all the candidates who all registered. The off campus for the month September is already started in other places, when it is going to start in Bangalore. Still i did not got any mail from the company. please reply me soon.

Thank you,
Veena.

Hi Veena, They will shortlist the candidates. Only Shortlisted candidates will get the interview call. Off-Campus is not yet started in any place according to our knowledge, You are saying that it’s already started, if you know any information, please update us here, all the students will get benefited.

my puc was really bad with 55%.i want to get into a IT company .
i have good programming skills in C,C++.i am a avid reader.
which finishing school should i join so that i can get into a company which pays me a good package?

Hi Siddarth, Even IT Finishing Schools can’t help you because, IT Finishing Schools should respect the Percentage Cut-Off’s for TOP MNC’s. So even if you are a IT Finishing School Student your should have above 60% through out your academic career to get placed in TOP MNC’s. IT Finishing Schools can show you job opportunities in small IT Companies.

Hello Venkatesh, It’s very good to see that you started your preperation right now itself. You’re eligible for Infoys and In Infosys if your clear the written test then 90% you’ll get selected, so I suggest you to concentrate on clearing the written test first. Prepare well for it thorough RS Agarwal. You can master the books with 2-3 months, once you do it, come back here, I’ll update you how to prepare for Technical rounds and HR rounds.

Hello Lakshmi naraasimhan, I think this answer will get you dissapointed. But don’t worry you can work for Infosys in Future. With 52% you are not eligible for Infosys since the cut-off is 68% through out the academic career. As said you can fullfill your dream as a experienced guy.
